N * for Nourishment.

In the rhythmic dance of life, there's a crucial element that often goes overlooked: the art of NOURISHING oneself.

Especially for women, who are caught up in the kin keeping and martyring themselves in the name of caring for others…we tend to put ourselves at the absolute bottom of the list.

 

Beyond the physical sustenance, nourishment extends to our emotional, spiritual, and mental realms. We have complex needs, and unless we are tending to them…our land quickly turns barren.

 

As we venture deeper into our M.O.T.H.E.R.L.U.N.G. Protocol, today’s chapter shines a light on the profound power of ‘Nourishment’.
 

Fertilising the lungs: nourishment - the bedrock for flourishing.

Just as the soil requires the right nutrients to nurture a seed into a thriving plant, our souls, minds, and bodies yearn for the right kind of sustenance to bloom in all their magnificence. Nourishment isn’t just about what we consume physically; it's about absorbing positivity, hope, and love in every form, allowing these elements to become a part of our essence.
 

The Practice

① Sacred Surroundings

Before beginning, ensure you're in a space that feels comforting and sacred. This could be a quiet room adorned with soft lighting, aromatic scents, or even outdoors under the embrace of nature.

② Grounding Gratitude

Take a moment to plant your feet firmly on the ground. With every inhale, visualize the energy of the Earth rising to meet you, nourishing you from the ground up. And with every exhale, release any resistance, offering your gratitude back to the Earth.

③ Nourishment Inventory

Ask yourself: What nourishes my body? What nourishes my mind? What nourishes my soul? Jot down your insights, no matter how big or small, tangible or intangible.

④ Breathe Affirmation

Breathe deeply, and with every inhale, repeat the affirmation, "I choose nourishment." With every exhale, envision any toxicities, negativities, or barriers dissolving away.

⑤ Visualise Your Nourishment

Close your eyes and visualize a golden light surrounding you. This light represents all the nourishment available to you. See it entering your body with each breath, reaching the areas that crave it the most, healing and rejuvenating them.

⑥ Commit to Conscious Choices

Reflect on your nourishment inventory. Make a pact with yourself to integrate at least one nourishing practice into your daily routine, be it a nourishing meal, a mindful meditation, or even a simple, heartfelt conversation.

⑦ Breathe In Love

Conclude your practice by placing one hand on your heart and the other on your belly. Breathe in deeply, imagining love and nourishment filling every cell, every fiber of your being.

Nourishment goes beyond the plate. It’s an active, daily choice to embrace, honor, and love oneself deeply and unconditionally. As you immerse yourself in this practice, may you unearth the profound ways you can feed your soul, ensuring it thrives in the richest, most abundant ways.

True nourishment doesn't just satiate; it elevates. It isn't a mere act but an ongoing journey of making choices that resonate with your true self, choices that fuel your growth and propel you forward.

Embrace nourishment not just as a practice, but as a way of life.

Let it guide you, heal you, and transform you, reminding you of the abundance and beauty within and around.
