the ML protocol ⌇part 2
Life, in all its unpredictability, is a dance of contrasts - highs and lows, joys and sorrows, stillness and movement.
Oscillation is not just about recognizing these contrasts but embodying them, breathing them, and ultimately flowing with them.
Imagine the pendulum of a grand clock, gracefully swinging from one side to another.
It never resists its motion; it simply follows its natural path, in perfect harmony.
In the vast canvas of life, Oscillation serves as the brushstroke that paints our emotions, reactions, and states of being. By attuning ourselves to its rhythm, we can channel the forces of balance and imbalance, gaining deeper insight into our inner equilibrium.
Breath oscillation is the rhythmic dance of life, moving between stillness and storm, anchoring us in the ever-present ebb and flow of existence.
The Practice
① Sacred Space
Begin by setting a calming environment. Dim lights, soft fabrics, perhaps a candle with a gentle aroma. This space should evoke feelings of serenity, where the outside world gently fades away.
② Grounded Awareness
Sit cross-legged or on a chair, ensuring your spine is erect but relaxed. Close your eyes, and feel the earth beneath you, anchoring you, holding you firm.
③ Breath’s Prelude
Start with a few minutes of simple observation. Feel the air entering and leaving your nostrils, the rise and fall of your chest and abdomen. Become one with this rhythm.
④ The Dynamic Dance
Imagine your breath as a swinging pendulum. With every inhale, visualize the pendulum moving up a steep hill, gathering momentum. As you exhale, it swiftly descends, releasing that energy. Let this image take over, and feel the dynamism of this oscillation in every cell of your body.
⑤ Energy Channels
As you breathe in, visualize energy rising from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. As you breathe out, imagine this energy flowing back down, grounding you. This is the dance of the Kundalini, the oscillating energy within.
⑥ Sound Integration
Introduce a soft hum or a chant during your exhales. This can be a simple 'Om' or any sound that resonates with you. Let the vibrations of this sound magnify the oscillations, creating ripples throughout your being.
⑦ Return & Reflect
After 10-15 minutes, or when you intuitively feel complete, gently bring your awareness back to the room. Open your eyes, and sit in silent reflection for a few moments, assimilating the experience.
♾ ♾ ♾ ♾
Oscillation is not just about motion, but the profound interplay of movement and stillness. It's the essence of life, the silent symphony that plays within each of us. As you navigate your day, remember this practice and let it be a reminder of the ever-present dance between the seen and the unseen, the known and the mysterious.
Our breath serves as a mirror, reflecting the intricacies of our lives.
Every rise, every fall, every moment of pause, holds significance.
Each letter we unveil in our M.O.T.H.E.R.L.U.N.G. journey is an ode to these nuances, these melodies.
With every recording, I invite you to but FEEL.
Feel the weight, the texture, the fragrance of each practice, and let it mold and meld with your unique essence.
Until our next letter, cherish the oscillations, and may you dance with grace amidst the ebb and flow.
